424 On The Road Summer Camps utilize a progression-based training system designed to build complete, well-rounded players step by step. Each skill is intentionally layered so athletes can connect the pieces of their development and see the full picture of their game come together. Our Curriculum includes:

  • Advanced Ball Handling to tighten/control handle under pressure
  • Elite footwork and efficient movement habits
  • Game-level passing reads and decision making
  • Multi-level finishing with creativity and touch
  • Playing with pace and the ability to change speeds effectively
  • Scoring from 3 levels
  • Shooting versatility (Catch & Shoot, on the move, etc.)
  • Modern/Traditional reads, concepts and game situations
  • High-level IQ development (we teach the “how”, “why”, and “when”)
  • Small sided games to apply skills in live, game-like situations
  • A fun and positive environment designed to encourage growth, build confidence and develop complete players

Camp Director – Nick Dizon (See More)

Nick Dizon is a 2009 graduate of Woodland Hills High School in Pittsburgh, PA. He went on to play at La Roche College before transferring to Penn State Greater Allegheny and earning his
Bachelor’s Degree (Business) in 2015

Coach Dizon brings over 11 years of coaching experience across middle school, high school, AAU and player development camps and clinics. He currently serves as the Head Girls Varsity Basketball Coach at Avonworth High School in Pittsburgh, PA. During his 4 year tenure, the Avonworth Antelopes have made the PIAA state playoffs 3x, won section titles 2x, earned WPIAL Gold (2023) and WPIAL Silver (2024).

Coach Dizon is widely respected for his ability to identify and break down the details that impact player performance. Known for his clear and effective teaching style, he emphasizes not just what to do, but the how and why behind each skill concept in order to help athletes develop a deeper understanding of the game while maximizing their individual growth.

Coach Dizon is passionate about player development while encouraging a growth mindset to help players develop the skills that lead to success in sports and life.
